We are going to work through realistic psychiatric case studies across the lifespan, including:

• Maternal & Perinatal Psychiatry
• Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
• Adult Psychiatry
• Geriatric Psychiatry
• Complex differential diagnoses
• Psychopharmacology considerations
• Risk and safety assessment
• Clinical decision-making
• Documentation and what should actually go into your note
• Common documentation mistakes that can create problems later

This will NOT be four hours of simply listening to a lecture.

We are going to work through cases together.

I want you thinking:

What is your diagnosis?
What else is on your differential?
What would you prescribe and why?
What additional information do you need?
Is this patient appropriate for outpatient management?
What would you document?
